People in Kenya are home and dry

Fussgängerbrücke in Kenia - mageba Sponsoring
The Enkeju-Enkoiren River is located between the villages of Talek & Aitong. A torrential river evolves from a small drain during the rainy season. During this time, the inhabitants do not have access to vital infrastructure such as schools, hospitals and markets.

Since 2010, the team of the non-profit organisation Econosphere Projects has been trying to provide help by building vital bridges - by hand and in collaboration with the local people: the Masai. Their success is worth mentioning. The bridge was completed at the end of September, 2014.

It is the first time that Kenyan construction engineers were the project leaders for a bridge construction. The Swiss Association Econosphere Projects was able to provide functional support. Swiss enterprises, including mageba SA, sponsored monetary and material contributions. Thanks to these efforts, the project was successfully funded and implemented.
